A network of photographers for assets that get picked up.

Visual Assets That Make Editors Say Yes

A well-pitched story loses placements every day because the accompanying visuals are inadequate. Editors at print-heritage publications, lifestyle titles and trade magazines operate within strict image standards — resolution requirements, licensing clarity, compositional quality — and a pitch that cannot supply print-ready or web-optimised photography alongside the story is a pitch that will be deprioritised, regardless of how strong the editorial hook is. Visual quality is not a finishing touch in digital PR; it is a placement prerequisite for a significant portion of the media landscape.

CWA Europe maintains a network of professional photographers across multiple European markets, covering commercial, editorial, lifestyle, architectural and product disciplines. When a campaign requires original visual assets, we commission and direct the shoot as part of the overall campaign production process rather than treating it as a separate procurement exercise. This integration matters: the photography brief is informed by the editorial requirements of the target publications, the visual identity of the client’s brand, and the specific usage rights needed for press distribution. Assets arrive media-ready, properly licensed and sized for the full range of likely placements.

Beyond commissioned photography, we advise on the strategic use of data visualisation, infographics and designed assets within campaigns. Not every story requires a photoshoot — some are better served by a well-designed chart or an original illustration — and our production recommendations are always driven by what will maximise coverage, not by what is easiest to produce. Where stock photography is appropriate, we source and license it correctly, ensuring clients are never exposed to rights disputes from assets used in press distribution.

  • Photographer network. We commission across commercial, lifestyle, editorial and architectural disciplines in multiple European markets.
  • Editorially informed briefs. Photography is directed with specific target publications in mind, matching their visual standards and tone.
  • Press licensing included. All commissioned assets come with usage rights appropriate for media distribution from the outset.
  • Data visualisation & design. Where charts, infographics or illustrations serve the story better, we produce those assets to the same editorial standard.
  • Brand consistency. Visual assets are produced within your brand guidelines, ensuring coverage also reinforces brand recognition.
